Equity Scholarship for Sydney School of Veterinary Science Students at the University of Sydney, Australia

Area of ​​study: This scholarship aims to support students of low socioeconomic status starting a Bachelor of Veterinary Biology/Doctor of Veterinary Medicine.

Scholarship Worth:

This scholarship will provide tuition fees for the course (capped at the CSP fee) for the first 3 years of the Bachelor of Veterinary Biology/Doctor of Veterinary Medicine.

$500 each semester for the purchase of books and is available for the first 3 years.

Description: This scholarship was established in 2021 through the generous donation of the William Charles Watling – Bequest. It provides financial support to students from low socioeconomic status entering the Bachelor of Veterinary Biology/Doctor of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Sydney.

Requirements:

be a national student
have an unconditional offer of admission and begin full-time study in the Bachelor of Veterinary Biology/Doctor of Veterinary Medicine
be able to demonstrate low socioeconomic status through the Early Offer Year 12 (E12) program
fill in the application form with personal statements and supporting documents, i.e. ATSI proof of identity and main residence address.
